Little Of Both - Lyrics - Guy Clark

Title: Little Of Both
Artist: Guy Clark
Composer(s): Verlon Thompson, Guy Clark

Lyric:
I like drinking whiskey, I like being straight
I like a voodoo spinners and I like live bait
I like a hundred miles an hour, I like Sunday driving too
I like being alone with me, I like being alone with you

Give me a bowl of chili, give me milk and toast
As long as you're dishing it out Lord, I'll take a little of both

I could do with someone but I could do without
Sometimes you feel like dancing, sometimes like sitting it out
I like staying at home and I like going to town
As long as I got a choice, I can't turn nothing down

Give me a bowl of chili, give me milk and toast
As long as you're dishing it out Lord, I'll take a little of both

Put a little gravy on everything for me

Sometimes, I like to fly, sometimes, I have to crawl
Sometimes, I'm cool as ice, sometimes, I'm climbin' the wall
Sometimes, it's just the money, sometimes, it's just a game
Six of one and half a dozen of another is all the same

Give me a bowl of chili, give me milk and toast
As long as you're dishing it out Lord, I'll take a little of both
Give me a bowl of chili, give me milk and toast
As long as you're dishing it out Lord, I'll take a little of both

Best Of Both World - Lyrics - Miley Cyrus

Title: Best Of Both World
Artist: Miley Cyrus
Composer(s): Matthew Gerrard, Robert S Nevil

Lyric:
Oh yea
Come on

You get the limo out front
Hottest styles, every shoe, every color

Yea when your famous it can be kinda fun
It's really you but no one ever discovers

In some ways you're just like all your friends
But on stage you're a star

You get the best of both worlds
Chillin' out, take it slow
Then you rock out the show

You get the best of both worlds
Mix it all together and you know that
It's the best of both worlds
The best of both worlds

You go the movie premiers
(Is that Orlando Bloom?)
Hear your songs on the radio
Livin' two lives is a little weird
But school's cool cuz nobody knows

Yea you get to be a small town girl
But big time when you play your guitar

You get the best of both worlds
Chillin' out take it slow
Then you rock out the show

You get the best of both worlds
Mix it all together and you know that
It's the best of both
You know the best of both worlds

Pictures and autographs
You get your face in all the magazines
The best part's that
You get to be who ever you wanna be

Yea best of both
You get the best of both
Come on, best of both

Who would of thought that a girl like me
Would double as a superstar?

You get the best of both worlds
Chillin' out, take it slow
Then you rock out the show

You get the best of both worlds
Mix it all together and you know that
It's the best

You get the best of both worlds
Without the shades and the hair
You can go anywhere

You get the best of both girls
Mix it all together
Oh yea
It's so much better cuz you know
You've got the best of both worlds

Johnny'S Camaro - Lyrics - David Wilcox

Title: Johnny'S Camaro
Artist: David Wilcox
Composer(s): David Patrick Wilcox

Lyric:
"Can I have another quarter?" he said.
"What?"
"Can I have another quarter?"
"Why?" she said.
"Uh, I dropped it," he said.
"Sure," she said, and she handed him another quarter.
And he reached out of the window there, and dropped it in the toll basket.
Up comes the gate, and out comes...

Johnny's Camaro, Johnny's Camaro
Johnny loved his Camaro, maybe more than life itself.

Oh, it was no big deal, he was just taking her to the airport.
It was autumn in New York City.
It was springtime, however, in Africa.
She'd been saving up her money.
She was going to go on one of these outward bound trips,
so he was just giving her a ride to the airport.
And around and around the airport they went,
through that parking garage, looking for a parking space.
"There's one," she said.
"No."
"There's one," she said.
"No."
You see, actually it takes two parking spaces...

for Johnny's Camaro, Johnny's Camaro

He's a little nervous walking through the airport.
He's always looking back over his shoulder.
"You can go back if you want," she said.
"No, no man, I'll stay."
And he did. He stayed until the plane took off.
Then he ran back.
But meanwhile, she was high up over the city.
She was looking down.
She was looking down at the lights of the buildings.
She was looking down at the lights of the boats on the water.
She was looking down at the lights.
You could see them crossing the bridges,
and through the little canyon streets.
Little tiny, diamond toward you and ruby away.
You know, those little tiny moving lights.
And she knew that one of them was... well you know.

Man, I've got to tell you about the adventures she had in Africa.
I think I should start with the silver bracelet,
I think that's where it all turns around.
She hadn't been on the trip long and one of the guides sort of
took her under his wing.
'Cause she was sort of startled easy,
she was a little nervous about being out there.
The first time she got sunburned through her hat
she realized she was a long way from home.
She had just left the group for a little while one day,
she had just went to take a pee,
she said "I'll be right back," but she didn't come back for a while.
And this guide, this African man went to look for her.
"Laura! Laura?"
He found her standing on the lowest branch of a fairly tall tree,
way off the ground.
"How you get up there?"
Well, she had jumped.
"Why?"
Well, there was a hyena, and they had told her about hyenas.
They have jaws that can crush bone.
She wasn't in a real confident position anyway,
and she just ran, and there was the branch.
She jumped - one hand slipped, one hand held.
She was not coming down.
"He's gone."
So now she trusted him, and she swings back down
and both arms straight, hanging from that branch,
her feet are four feet off the ground.
Man, she didn't know she could jump that high.
Ah, but she does now.

It was changes like that that made him give her that silver bracelet.
It was the one that he'd always wear kind of between his elbow
and his shoulder, kind of wrapped tight around his arm.
It was a beautiful silver bracelet, and he bent it down a little bit to fit around
her muscle there and she smiled.
So much so that it startled him.
So much so that on the last day of that trip, when they were getting
back on the bus to go to the small airport to go back to the big airport
to go across the ocean to go back to... you know,
when they were getting back on the bus, she leaned out the window
for that last little cheesecake snapshot
and as he looked through the camera, he had to slowly take the camera
down, and turn his head to the side a little bit, look a little bit
sad and say
"How you get up there?"

She was dreaming over the ocean
Dreaming of being home again
Dreaming over the ocean
Of what would never be the same.

Well, he wasn't at the gate when she got into the airport.
He must have been looking for a parking space.
So she just walked through the airport,
you know, and it wasn't like before.
Now the airport seemed kind of small.
The airport seemed kind of stuffy, the ceiling was a little bit low.
And everyone was getting out of her way.
I don't know - well, actually I do know.
Maybe it was because it had been winter, you see,
and she had just come back from summer.
And she was just dressed normally. Everyone else was bundled up,
but she had on her hiking boots and her shorts and her tank top,
her hair tied back, and a knife on her belt, and a big old silver bracelet,
I think it was the silver bracelet,
but everybody was getting out of her way.
She didn't see him 'til the backpack comes rolling down the
old baggage claim, and suddenly there's this arm
and this voice saying, "I'll get that."
And she says, "Hey, that's my backpack, gimme it. Where're you parked?"
So he reluctantly gave her the backpack,
and she swung it over her shoulder
and they went out and carefully nestled it in the trunk.

And then, out of the parking garage and into the city.
And she had to lean out the window,
she pushed the button and made the window go down
and she leaned out a little bit to feel the wind in her hair.
Man, this is the wild place to be.
I mean, this is the place,
she has to lean a little further out of the car just to
just to see it all, just to look up at some of the buildings.
As a matter of fact, she leaned a little farther back
so she could look back behind
and watch those big tires rolling on that pavement,
and then suddenly the window came up
and she comes back in, startled
and sure enough Johnny's got his finger on the power window.
And he's looking at her like,
"Will you get your feet off the upholstery!"
The upholstery, the upholstery. She forgot. How could she forget?
Well, she'd been in Africa. Come on!
She took her feet off the upholstery.
As a matter of fact, she took her feet off the upholstery politely.
As a matter of fact, she folded her hands in her lap
and she settled in for this ride.
I saw just a glint of a smile as she turned her face to one side.
Maybe to feel the plush upholstery brush against her cheek.
Maybe to see the lights of the graphic equalizer on the stereo
reflected in the side window.
Maybe to watch that lone drop of water make its weary way across
that perfectly waxed surface.
But I think it was just to enjoy this ride...
this ride...
this last ride...

in Johnny's Camaro, Johnny's Camaro.

Bigger Than Both Of Us - Lyrics - Hall &Amp; Oates

Title: Bigger Than Both Of Us
Artist: Hall &Amp; Oates
Composer(s): Daryl Hall, John Oates

Lyric:
There's a million like us so we're not alone
A million like us though I can't think of one
There must be a million people who are pulling apart
And they don't know how to stop it, can't stop it when it starts

We can begin with a little bit of honesty
You can tell the truth girl, when you're talking to me
And what comes to my mind when I think of you
Is what am I here for? There must be something more

And it's bigger than both of us
No matter what you say
I just can't think of a way with you
Don't you know it, nothing really lasts forever
It's bigger than both of us

No matter how I try
I can't even work up a sigh for you
Don't you know it, nothing ever lasts
Nothing really lasts forever

Just think of me as another page in your life
A curious way for you to pass the time
Just another memory when you're middle aged
Oh, yeah

Where there's someone for the girl with everything
Secure in the knowing that she ain't gonna break
You're too much for me I'm too much for you
So what are you here for, when you know there's something more

And it's bigger than both of us
No matter what you say
I just can't think of a way with you
Don't you know that nothing really lasts forever
It's bigger than both of us

No matter how I try
I can't even work up a sigh for you
Know that, nothing ever lasts
Nothing really lasts forever

There's a million like us
It's bigger than both of us
Million like us

And it's bigger than both of us
No matter what you say
I just can't think of a way with you, girl
Don't you know that nothing really lasts forever
It's bigger than both of us

No matter how I try
I can't even work up a sigh for you
Know that, nothing ever lasts
Nothing really lasts forever

No matter what you say
I just can't think of a way, can't think of a way
Know that nothing really lasts forever
It's bigger than both of us

No matter how I try
I can't even work up a sigh for you, for you
Know that, nothing really lasts
Nothing really lasts forever

Twerk A Little - Lyrics - Dark Days Bright Nights - Bubba Sparxxx

Title: Twerk A Little
Album: Dark Days Bright Nights
Artist: Bubba Sparxxx
Composer(s): Timothy Z Mosley, Warren Anderson Mathis

Lyric:
Feel me
Come on

Catch me on a back road or cookin' in your momma's house
In your daughter's guts or just spazzin' out
Me and Bubba know what the hell we talkin' 'bout
Pickin' up Betty's like they was beans and brussel sprouts

We got the clout to make you bounce a little
We got the clout to make you down this pickle until you gettin' tickled
C'mon Bubba, let's surround this biddle
While you work the back bit, Timb' work the middle

Uh oh, uh oh! I see ya see ya smile
Uh oh, uh oh! Down comes your blouse
Timb' been around 'em all
From white to black, even magnolia

To hit 'em in project halls
In back of the streets, maybe, right in front of y'all
Timb' and Bubba is a problem, y'all
It's like hip hop meets Effin Tim McGraw

We two fools and don't take no mess
Bitch lumber logs just to work the chest
He's country finest, I'm country best
Puttin' lights out train, just get in that dress, now c'mon

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

I brought enough with me to start this bitch a college fund
Fitted Boy and Polo and she ain't even got a son
Timmy, kind of shy, told me to tell you drop it some
Here Betty, take this grand, get your monthly shoppin' done

You can shake for them but bet that you don't profit none
I got a coochie fart fetish baby, pop me one
While you by the bar, I grab your boy a shot of rum
I'm the shit to the point, you gotta stop, I got the runs

Uh oh, uh oh! Why they all on Timmy?
Uh oh, uh oh! Ten grand is all they give me
Still got a grand left, can I let my hand rest
Right there on your damn chest, fondlin' your tan breast

I might just snap back and cuss a broad
But this bitch is truly blessed, so I must applaud
In and out of every club in less than a hour
Sprinkle on a little Pervis like I'm fresh out the shower

And rest assured Timmy runnin' with Bubba
We gettin' slurped by two sluts right in front of each other
And we'll probably do the same thang next Monday evening
I gotta ride this Bentley home 'cause Timmy's out, so we leavin', now

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

I see you lookin' out the corner of your eye
Come up here and rub up on my thigh

I'm comin', baby, as fast as I can
So while you're waitin'
Won'tcha go 'head and talk to my man

I see you lookin' out the corner of your eye
Come up here and rub up on my thigh

Thank you Timmy, I don't mind yo' sloppy seconds
But when I send her back to you I bet we both infected

I see you lookin' out the corner of your eye
Come up here and rub up on my thigh

Bubba, won'tcha just do what I tell ya
She got some good snapper
Yes she do, dammit, didn't I tell you?

I see you lookin' out the corner of your eye
Come up here and rub up on my thigh
Won't you put it in my mouth, won't you put it in my mouth?

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

Twerk a little, twerk a little, let me see you drop it
Work the middle, work the middle, let me see you pop it
Go on witcha bad self, c'mon witcha bad self

You And I Both - Lyrics - Tonight Not Again/Live at Eagles Ballroom - Jason Mraz

Title: You And I Both
Album: Tonight Not Again/Live at Eagles Ballroom
Artist: Jason Mraz
Composer(s): Jason Mraz

{AdsenseCode:2D080010-7055-443A-8D12-2B79DDC71256}

Lyric:
Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me
Oh things are gonna happen naturally
Oh taking your advice and I'm looking on the bright side
And balancing out the whole thing

Oh but at often times those words get tangled up in lines
And the bright light turns to night
Oh until the dawn it brings
Another day to sing about the magic that was you and me

'Cause you and I both loved
What you and I spoke of
And others just read of
Others only read of the love
Oh the love that I love, yeah

See I'm all about them words
Over numbers, unencumbered numbered words
Hundreds of pages, pages, pages forwards
More words than I had ever heard and I feel so alive

'Cause you and I both loved
What you and I spoke of
And others just read of
And if you could see now

Oh love, love, you and I, you and I
Not so little, you and I anymore
And with this silence brings a moral story
More importantly evolving is the glory of a boy

'Cause you and I both loved
What you and I spoke of
And others just read of
And if you could see me now

Well then I'm almost finally out of
I'm finally out of, finally de de de de de de
Well I'm almost finally finally
Well I am free, oh I'm free

And it's okay if you had to go away
Oh, just remember the telephone
Well, they're workin it both ways

But if I never, ever hear them ring
If nothing else I'll think the bells inside
Finally found you someone else and that's okay
'Cause I'll remember everything you sang

'Cause you and I both loved
What you and I spoke of
And others just read of
And if you could see me now

Well then I'm almost finally out of
I'm finally out of, finally de de de de de de
Well I'm almost finally, finally out of words

Which Of Us Is The Fool - Lyrics - Robert Palmer

Title: Which Of Us Is The Fool
Artist: Robert Palmer
Composer(s): Robert Palmer

Lyric:
She says that love
Can turn friends into fools
Make 'em easy prey
Yeah, well, I feel like bending her rules
I don't want to deceive her

Want to make her a believer
But she don't trust nobody
Who says he feels that way?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
You can't win if you can't lose
Which of us is the fool?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
I would be hard-pushed to choose
Which of us is the fool?

She knows her heart
Is so easy to break
She's so scared to fall
Yeah, can she tell
How she makes my heart ache

I just want to hold her
But I know if I told her
She'd say I was just hurting myself
And it certainly feels that way

Which of us is the fool, baby?
You can't win if you can't lose
Which of us is the fool?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
We both fear lonely nights
Little girl, can that be right?

I just want to hold her
But I know if I told her
She'd say I was just hurting myself
And it certainly feels that way

Which of us is the fool, baby?
You can't win if you can't lose
Which of us is the fool?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
We both fear lonely nights
Little girl, can that be right?

Which of us, which of us
Which of us is the fool?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
We both fear lonely nights
Little girl, can that be right?

Which of us is the fool, baby?
You can't win if you can't lose
Which of us is the fool?

Little Boy'S Prayer - Lyrics - Porter Wagoner

Title: Little Boy'S Prayer
Artist: Porter Wagoner
Composer(s): Jim Owen

Lyric:
Darling, I don't know whether you can hear me or not
Because of this lump in my throat, I can't talk very loud
But I've got to tell you 'bout our little son's prayer tonight
If you could've heard it honey, you'd have been so proud

I'd already left a note on the table for mom and dad
As if they didn't know what was wrong
Now, I asked them to take a care of him
Now, that you and I we're both gone

After I finished the note, I figured that he was asleep
So, I've slipped in to see him just once more
But he was just startin' to pray
And his words froze me at the door

And he said, "Dear God, it's late I hope I didn't get you up
But there's somethin' we gotta talk about
You see God, my mommy was buried today
And my daddy needs straighten out

Ever since mommy got sick, he's been nervous
And hollered at me a lot
But that part I can't understand
'Cause even a little boy like me knows that
Worry sometimes overload a man

But God, he loved mommy so much
And he used to tell her nothing
Would ever come between 'em
Now, I know that's what's botherin' him

Now 'cause somethin' has and I'm afraid
He's thinkin' about joinin' her somehow
God, I'm glad that he loved mommy
I want him to be with her again one of these days

But I want to talk to him and tell him
That first he's got me to raise
Tell him, every now and then
A little boy needs a helping hand

And I guess, you probably still need
Your daddy even after you're a full grown man
And God, if I'd lost him and mommy both
It'd be more than I could stand

I know my grandma and grandpa
Would take care of me
'Cause they both love me a whole lot
But God, they're older and they don't always understand
The problems a little boy like me has got

Well God, I won't bother anymore tonight
But tomorrow night, I'll be sure and talk to you again
You take care of my daddy, now you hear thank you, Amen

I've just stood there thinkin'
About his prayer and all that he said in it
Finally I opened the door and asked him
If I could talk to him for a minute

We sat down on the edge of his bed
And both took turns laughin' and cryin' for a while
And he could tell it'd been a change in me
Because for the first time in the long time I saw him smile

So darling, you go on ahead but you walk slow
And someday when you'll turn around I'll be there
But it'll be a while 'cause I'm gonna spend
The next few dozen years
Being an answer to our little boys prayer

A Little Past Little Rock - Lyrics - Some Things I Know - Lee Ann Womack

Title: A Little Past Little Rock
Album: Some Things I Know
Artist: Lee Ann Womack
Composer(s): Jess Brown, Brett Jones, Tony Lane

{AdsenseCode:2D080010-7055-443A-8D12-2B79DDC71256}

Lyric:
I had to leave my life in Dallas
That town will always be you
In every crowd, on every corner
In every face I'd see you

So with nothin' more than a tank of gas
I drove away without lookin' back
And I guess that's how I got where I am
Goin' anywhere as fast as I can

And I'm a little past, little rock further down the line
Too soon to know what's up ahead, too late to change my mind
I gotta keep my heart out of this and both hands on the wheel
I'm learnin' more with every mile just how leavin' feels

It's a lonely stretch of blacktop out into the blue
Don't know where I'll go or what I'll do
I'm a little past, little rock
But a long way from over you

These headlights on the highway
Disappear into the dark
And if I could have it my way
I'd go back to where you are

Oh, but I can't turn this thing around
And nothing short of breaking down
Is gonna get me off this road I'm on
Oh, and I'm still a far cry from gone

And I'm a little past, little rock further down the line
Too soon to know what's up ahead, tToo late to change my mind
I gotta keep my heart out of this and both hands on the wheel
I'm learnin' more with every mile just how leavin' feels

It's a lonely stretch of blacktop out into the blue
Don't know where I'll go or what I'll do

My Front Porch Looking In - Lyrics - Lonestar

Title: My Front Porch Looking In
Artist: Lonestar
Composer(s): Frank Myers, Richie Mcdonald, Don Pfrimmer

Lyric:
Ooh, yeah, ooh
Yeah, oh, yeah

The only ground I ever owned was sticking to my shoes
Now I look at my front porch and this panoramic view
I can sit and watch the fields fill up with rays of glowing sun
Or watch the moon lay on the fences like that's where it was hung
My blessings are in front of me, it's not about the land
I'll never beat the view from my front porch looking in

There's a carrot top who can barely walk with a sippy cup of milk
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong
'Cause she likes to dress herself
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them
And the view I love the most is my front porch looking in, yeah

I've traveled here and everywhere following my job
I've seen the paintings from the air brushed by the hand of God
The mountains and the canyons reach from sea to shining sea
But I can't wait to get back home to the one He made for me
'Cause anywhere I'll ever go and everywhere I've been
Nothing takes my breath away like my front porch looking in

There's a carrot top who can barely walk with a sippy cup of milk
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong
'Cause she likes to dress herself
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them
Yeah, the view I love the most is my front porch looking in, oh, yeah

I see what beautiful is about
When I'm looking in, not when I'm looking out

There's a carrot top who can barely walk with a sippy cup of milk
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong
'Cause she likes to dress herself
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them
Yeah, the view I love the most
Oh, the view I love the most is my front porch looking in, yeah

Oh, there's a carrot top who can barely walk
(From my front porch looking in)
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong, yeah
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them, oh, yeah
(Beautiful girl)

Sound Of Da Police - Lyrics - A Retrospective - Krs One

Title: Sound Of Da Police
Album: A Retrospective
Artist: Krs One
Composer(s): Lawrence Parker, Eric Burdon, Alan Lomax, Bodie Chandler

{AdsenseCode:2D080010-7055-443A-8D12-2B79DDC71256}

Lyric:
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Yes, indeed

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Yes, indeed

Stand clear, don' man a talk, you can't stand where I stand
You can't walk where I walk, watch out, we run New York
Police man come, we bust him out the park
I know this for a fact, you don't like how I act
You claim I'm sellin' crack but you be doin' that
I'd rather say "See ya" 'cause I would never be ya
Be a officer? You wicked overseer

Ya hotshot, wanna get props and be a saviour
First show a little respect, change your behavior
Change your attitude, change your plan
There could never really be justice on stolen land

Are you really for peace and equality? Or when my car is hooked up
You know you wanna follow me, your laws are minimal
'Cause you won't even think about lookin' at the real criminal
This has got to cease
'Cause we be getting hyped to the sound of da police

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast

Now, here's a likkle truth open up your eye
While you're checking out the boom box, check the exercise
Take the word "Overseer," like a sample
Repeat it very quickly in a crew for example

Overseer, overseer, overseer, overseer
Officer, Officer, Officer, Officer, yeah, officer from overseer
You need a little clarity? Check the similarity

The overseer rode around the plantation
The officer is off patroling all the nation
The overseer couldn't stop you what you're doing
The officer will pull you over just when he's pursuing
The overseer had the right to get ill
And if you fought back, the overseer had the right to kill

The officer has the right to arrest
And if you fight back they put a hole in your chest
Woop, they both ride horses
After 400 years, I've got no choices

The police them have a little gun
So when I'm on the streets, I walk around with a bigger one
Woop, woop, I hear it all day
Just so they can run the light and be upon their way

Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast

Check out the message in a rough stylee
The real criminals are the COP
You check for undercover and the one PD
But just a mere Black man, them want check me
Them check out me car for it shine like the sun
But them jealous or them vexed 'cause them can't afford one

Black people still slaves up 'til today
But the Black police officer nah see it that way
Him want a salary, him want it
So he put on a badge and kill people for it

My grandfather had to deal with the cops
My great-grandfather dealt with the cops
My great-grandfather had to deal with the cops
And then my great, great, great, great, when it's gonna stop?

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast

Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed
Yes, indeed

Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da police
Woop, woop, that's the sound of da beast

Meet In The Middle - Lyrics - Diamond Rio

Title: Meet In The Middle
Artist: Diamond Rio
Composer(s): Chapin Hartford, Jim Foster, Don Pfrimmer

Lyric:
It was seven hundred fence posts from your place to ours
Neither one of us was old enough to drive a car
Sometimes it was raining, sometimes it would shine
We wore out that gravel road between your house and mine

I'd start walking your way
You'd start walking mine
We'd meet in the middle
'Neath that old Georgia pine

We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
There ain't no road too long
When we meet in the middle

It's been seven years tomorrow since we said our vows
Under that old pine tree, you ought to see it now
Standing in the back yard reminding me and you
That if we don't see eye to eye there's something we can do

I'd start walking your way
You'd start walking mine
We'd meet in the middle
'Neath that old Georgia pine

We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
There ain't no road too long
When we meet in the middle

Babe I love the way we work it out
That's what love's about

I'd start walking your way
You'd start walking mine
We'd meet in the middle
'Neath that old Georgia pine

We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
There ain't no road too long
When we meet in the middle

I'd start walking your way
You'd start walking mine
We'd meet in the middle
'Neath that old Georgia pine

We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
There ain't no road too long
When we meet in the middle

I'd start walking your way
You'd start walking mine
We'd meet in the middle
'Neath that old Georgia pine

We'd gain a lot of ground
'Cause we'd both give a little
There ain't no road too long

Mi waash someone fi have and fi hold
Ina di nite, when di feelings a bite
Hug mi up, squeeze mi up, mek mi feel right

Just a little tenderness
With the lights down low
When the world is just two people
And love is all we need to know

Everybody's got an idea of what's right, what's right for me
I'm just tryin' to survive, and live my life positively
This one wants to educate me
That one wants to dominate me
The other on,e tryin' to wear me down
Talkin' outta both sides of the mouth

I just wanna lay with you
And be an island in this sea of confusion

Just a little tenderness
At the end of the day
Is all a woman needs
To take her fears away

Just a little tenderness
Put the lights down low
When the world is just two people
And love is all we need to know

And I, I just wanna lay with you
And be an island in this sea of confusion

Just a little tenderness
At the end of the day
Is all a woman needs
To take her fears away

Just a little tenderness
When the light's down low
The world is just two people
And love is all we need to know

Is all a woman needs
To take her fears away

Just a little tenderness
Deep in the night
When the world is just two people

A Little Past Litle Rock - Lyrics - Lee Ann Womack

Title: A Little Past Litle Rock
Artist: Lee Ann Womack
Composer(s): Jess Brown, Brett Jones, Tony Lane

{AdsenseCode:2D080010-7055-443A-8D12-2B79DDC71256}

Bad girls break rules of taboo in the worst way
But when it's said and done, we still get the pay
Without videos or a little bit of fame

Bad girls never depend on the next nigga's change
His dough is only here just to add to our cake
Follow that rule and ya'll gon' to be okay
We learned from the baddest, remember our names
Uh, what's my motherfuckin' name?

Parental Discretion - Lyrics - Big Punisher

Title: Parental Discretion
Artist: Big Punisher
Composer(s): R Lemay, C Rios

Lyric:
Aiyyo, I'm hard to talk to
If you live, I probably thought you stalked you
Where you walked to at night
Caught you then tried to extort you

New York niggaz is trigger happy, got Pataki scared
This town ain't big enough
For both of us and I ain't goin' nowhere

There it is, plain and simple
Like Jigga, my game is mental
While slow niggaz better know
I blow their brains out they temples

I'm into black magical torture
Romantic dramatical author, compatible with
The average New Yorker, a fast talker
Like Tony, when gas whores I'm the masked enforcer
Out for the cash and the cho-cha

Smash the coca, bottle it up watch the fiends, gobble it up
If I roll up, you do what? Swallow the stuff
I don't give a fuck anymore
I'm only twenty-four years old

And I've already broken every law
I'm horror core, this is for the heads
Runnin' up in your crib
Knot if you still hot in under the bed

Yo, parental discretion advised, please cover your eyes
Little kids, get out of here, this shits is homicide
Drugs and money, this ain't no Bugs Bunny
Little girls too, this ain't for you, it's for the thugs, honey

Hey yo, my shit's the truth, 150 proof, no question
Parental discretion advised, keep out the eyes of the youth
It's too explicit, bullshit, I challenge the statistics
Violence existed before our music was even suggested

Arrested on sight, it's like there's no rights
That's why I rhyme so aggressive and bring every message to life
I fight the power spite the power the 90 percent
Keep 10 and feed twin, half for personal reasons

The seasons change, things rearrange, but I stay the same
Play the game for the wealth until I've made myself a name
So blame it all on the gangster rapper, thanks to Joey Crack
For the chance to do it my way like Frank Sinatra

I ain't a actor so it's all facts, strictly raw rap
Totally intended for yours dressed in all black
with the ski mask, or the pantyhose makin' cameos
in liquor store cameras with the twin Calico's

Yo, parental discretion advised, please cover your eyes
Little kids, get out of here, this shits is homicide
Drugs and money, this ain't no Bugs Bunny
Little girls too, this ain't for you, it's for the thugs, honey

Yo, parental discretion advised, please cover your eyes
Little kids, get out of here, this shits is homicide
Drugs and money, this ain't no Bugs Bunny
Little girls too, this ain't for you, it's for the thugs, honey

So forget the boom, one look, you shook, you know I'm stickin' you
Liftin' you off the ground, look down, that's where I'm puttin' you
Look in my eyes and remember me, how does it feel mentally
Havin' the enemy be the last thing you ever see?

The recipe is death and I'm the chef, fricaseein' your flesh
Be my guest, but I ain't cleanin' the mess
Me and TS, we testin' niggaz faith, just to see they face
Expression when destined to States, that death be in the case

I'm in the state of grace, in the hated race, by the pagan face
Couldn't fight us, made a virus, gave us AIDS
I paint the wake 'cause they ain't get me yet, wet me
Or reflect me yet, I know they comin' they just tryin' to let me sweat

I wreck it like when I was just a boy, eatin' chips, ahoy
Wasn't allowed to raise my voice, now I'm makin' noise
No more toys, strictly Mac's and missiles, shorties with forties
Packin' pistols catchin' bodies

Make sure we'll get you
So they say, I pray there's a better way
My kids don't do as I do, they do as I say
'Cause daddy don't play

Yo, parental discretion advised, please cover your eyes
Little kids, get out of here, this shits is homicide
Drugs and money, this ain't no Bugs Bunny
Little girls too, this ain't for you, it's for the thugs, honey

Yo, parental discretion advised, please cover your eyes
Little kids, get out of here, this shits is homicide
Drugs and money, this ain't no Bugs Bunny
Little girls too, this ain't for you, it's for the thugs, honey

Word is bond, one thing about MC's is that
We don't conceal the truth, we present real pictures
About the positive and the negative, so don't blame
The hip-hop when your seed is learnin' the real life from us

Do your duty at home and raise your child in the house
Parents, you don't do your job we gonna
Put your children to bed at nine o'clock
Past your bedtime, you get your ass in bed

You ain't 'posed to be hearin' this shit
Word up, punishment motherfuckers
By the Punisher and Busta Rhymes, hah
Terror squad, Flipmode squad niggaz

Z - The Best Of Both Worlds - Lyrics - The Best Of Both Worlds (Jay-Z & R. Kelly) - Jay

Title: Z - The Best Of Both Worlds
Album: The Best Of Both Worlds (Jay-Z & R. Kelly)
Artist: Jay
Composer(s): Robert Kelly, Shawn Carter, Dorsey Wesley

{AdsenseCode:2D080010-7055-443A-8D12-2B79DDC71256}

Lyric:
You and me, havin sex
After an argument, that shit's the best
You and me, havin sex yeahh
After an argument, that shit's the best
(Think about it while the streets you roam
It's Dom P and Army in the fridge when you get home)

I storm in, she storm out
It's like the "War of the Roses" goin on in my house
It's a little seperation but I know how to fix the situation
Mami just sufferin from love deprevation
So I gotta give her thug reperations
Put it in the life until love leg is shakin
Slow and passionate, 'til we forget what happens
Then we laughin and we back friends

You don't have to fuss and fight
Why don't you just spend the night
Baby let's just kiss and hug
You know the words girl let's make up
So much love to be made
Instead of screamin, "Who's to blame?"
Girl I don't wanna let you go, I need you so

You and me, havin sex
After an argument, that shit's the best
You and me, havin sex yeahh
After an argument, that shit's the best
(Think about it while the streets you roam
It's Dom P and Army in the fridge when you get home)

Girlfriend didn't believe me when I said I'd be back in a little
Cause I had the Chris T on with the crease in the middle
Plus a fresh cut and the freezin icicles
On my wrist, on my hand, that's when shit hit the fan
Said, "You never spend timey, what's up with that?"
Translated it means
RHit it hard from the back
Yeah she hid my car keys
And forced me to fall asleep to her heartbeat

You don't have to fuss and fight
Why don't you just spend the night
Baby let's just kiss and hug
You know the words girl let's make up
So much love to be made
Instead of screamin, "Who's to blame?"
Girl I don't wanna let you go, I need you so

You and me, havin sex
After an argument, that shit's the best
You and me, havin sex yeahh
After an argument, that shit's the best
(Think about it while the streets you roam
It's Dom P and Army in the fridge when you get home)

I don't want baby I don't want to fight
I just wanna make it right (ooh yeah)
Put out problems to the side
Let's just make sweet love tonight (I don't want)
Baby I don't want to fight
I just wanna make it right (ohhhhh love)
Put our problems to the side
Let's just make sweet love tonight

Sex so intense, all that's on my mind
It ain't feel this good since the very first time
I'm pullin her close, she's pullin away
I'm tryin to kiss her mouth but she keeps turnin her face
Cute sex game like our very first date
We ain't know each other well enough, we had to wait
But oh! I know just where your hot spot at
You can not deny that, so do not try that
I do not buy that

You and me, havin sex
After an argument, that shit's the best
You and me, havin sex yeahh
After an argument, that shit's the best
(Think about it while the streets you roam
It's Dom P and Army in the fridge when you get home)
